PDC Group
One of the recently completed projects is the fitout for PDC Group, a large engineering firm of 220 personnel, who have now occupied three floors covering approximately 3000 m2 in a new “A” class building in Applecross. The works included the installation of over 200 open plan workstations complete with tidy cable wiring, specialist monitor arms and ergonomic chairs. The fitout also included ten offices, four meeting rooms, a large boardroom and a kitchen facility on each floor with the main “staff hub” located on the top floor extending to an outdoor balcony for social functions. The company’s corporate colours feature throughout the premises with contrasting colours in the breakout areas. The PDC offices boast stunning views of Perth and surrounds.
Galati Group
TKO also completed the second major fitout for Galati Group with the latest works occurring at their new premises in O’Connor. The fitout included a striking reception and waiting area, a sophisticated board room with adjoining meeting room, kitchen, open plan workstations for fifteen personnel and ten offices. There was a strong emphasis on design for this project with the Galati Group corporate colours, logo, graphics and produce featured throughout the premises. The high impact design includes a textured timber slat feature wall in the reception contrasted with high gloss finishes. There is also a combination of traditional and modern furniture resulting in a warm and comfortable ambience. Additional detail and photographs of the Galati Group fitout can be found in our featured projects.
EVH Emergency Vet Hospital
Another significant project that TKO has recently handed over is the fitout of EVH Emergency Vet Hospital in Wangara. This challenging project involved the accommodation of a state of the art 300 m2 veterinary hospital in what was previously a warehouse. The premises include a spacious reception and waiting area (including a separate area designated for cats), three consulting rooms, two surgeries, dog runs and cages, treatment area, laboratory, pharmacy, sterilisation room and an x-ray room with lead plated walls. Contrasting with the warm and brightly designed front reception area to welcome in new patients, the back of house areas are practical, clean and clinical. The works included energy efficient lighting, high quality joinery, feature coloured splashback and externally hung sliding doors throughout. The hospital was officially opened by Tracey Roberts, the Mayor of The City of Wanneroo, on 3rd October 2015.
Other Works
TKO is also involved in several projects aimed at getting clients into their new office spaces prior to Christmas. Works have started on the Cubic Transportation Systems fitout in Balcatta which includes a specialised test laboratory, open plan workstations and a breakout area for the staff. Further projects include new fitouts for O’Neil Financial Planning and Paradigm Financial Consulting, ongoing works for ORS Group, a number of office renovations/office refurbishments and finalisation of a medical suite fitout in Hollywood Hospital.
